 Streaks
~ The streaks on a roof are cause by a pipe or jack oxidizing and
killing fungus which grows on the roof. The streak is actually the
original color of the roof while the dark around is growing fungus. |

 Can
Be Avoided ~ The ugly streaks can
be avoided by installing shingles which have copper-sulfate sprinkled on
them. They are more costly then plain shingles but are worth the price. |

etc. ~ A new roof looks better when
all of the jacks are painted to match the roof. |
