~ Felt paper lines are almost
never laid strait so it is best to pop chalk lines as your guide. When
applying a 30 Year shingle or greater chalk lines are not necessary because
the correct line is on top of each shingle. |

Difficult ~ Measure from the fascia
board on each end and calculate precisely the right distance or some
shingles could be exposed to much and cause an unsightly scene. |
